We are very pleased that our social commitment has been recognized this year with the “Golden Lily 2024” award. The Golden Lily honors companies in Wiesbaden that demonstrate outstanding social responsibility and community engagement. For us, this recognition is both an honor and a motivation to continue contributing.
In 2022, we were particularly active in supporting Ukraine. In addition to donations to the Schierstein–Kamianets-Podilskyi partnership association, we and our employees helped organize the transport of food, medical supplies, and clothing to the Polish-Ukrainian border. We also arranged and fully financed the transportation of refugees from Ukraine.
In light of the events of October 7, 2023, and our own family history, we decided this year to support the Jewish Community of Wiesbaden with a donation to Keren Hayesod, an initiative dedicated to supporting Israel and its people.
We are also regularly engaged in our home city of Wiesbaden: we support the Wiespaten educational initiative and the Silberstreifen association, which is actively committed to combating old-age poverty. Our annual Christmas donations to various institutions reflect our aim to respond to current societal needs.
Within our company, we also live the values of peaceful coexistence. Our team brings together people from many different countries, particularly from Eastern Europe. The harmonious collaboration—especially between our Russian and Ukrainian colleagues—is something we deeply value.
We are proud to receive the Golden Lily 2024 and would like to thank everyone who supports and accompanies us on this journey.
