We are pleased to be part of the Wiesbaden Industrial Advisory Council, which has been serving as the voice of local industry since 2021—currently bringing together 18 managing directors from industrial companies based in Wiesbaden. In addition, members include Hochschule RheinMain, Charlotte Fresenius Hochschule, the IHK Wiesbaden, the Handwerkskammer Wiesbaden, the Vereinigung hessischer Unternehmerverbände (Wiesbaden-Rheingau-Taunus office), the IG BCE, and the Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund (DGB). The Department for Economic Affairs and Employment coordinates the council as a central hub for industrial matters.
“As part of the Industrial Advisory Council, we aim to actively contribute to shaping the future of industry in Wiesbaden and to developing sustainable solutions for current challenges,” says Manuel Fischer-Bothof.
Under the leadership of Christiane Hinninger, Mayor and Head of Economic Affairs, we are working to highlight the importance of industry and to improve the framework conditions for businesses in close collaboration with local policymakers. Key focus areas include energy supply, transport and mobility, land allocation, and the reduction of bureaucracy.
Our goal is to contribute—through strong partnerships—to the continued development of Wiesbaden as an attractive and future-oriented industrial location. We are convinced that constructive dialogue is the foundation for developing sustainable solutions to today’s challenges.
